GI Kate has a sampling of a documentary on women in the military that is worth the view. It's been disheartening that, despite the fact that women are serving our country in larger numbers and in more front-line roles (such as the Lioness program), mainstream society willfully wishes to hamper their courage because of the politically incorrect nature of the military (the "women as victims" meme) and the old world thinking that women shouldn't be on the front lines. In approaching the politics of war from a strictly bipartisan perspective, these ladies are taking flak from both sides of the aisle. So, visit GI Kate's blog and show some support. Also, women interested in being part of the documentary can contact GI Kate via email.
While probably not the best blog for woman's issues, this blog supports this documentary
