I discovered MORA today

I did not only discover an amazing ethnic saree collection but also the wonderful designer behind the label MORA – Ritika Mittal. I stumbled upon her blog and to my awe, some of her exquisite and unique pieces stopped my heart from beating … I instantly fell in love with her collection and I am now official her big fan, and yes I told her that too. We chatted briefly on facebook, and felt an instant magical saree connection. Ritika went on an amazing journey in the far north-eastern parts of India, visiting villages in the states like Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur where she spent weeks even months with the skilled weavers  who worked on their traditional loin looms, to produce unique and creative saree pieces, … each with its own distinctive details for MORA’s new collection … you must read her adventure here.
