WHY BERNIE WILLIAMS STILL ROCKS

So as many of you Yankee fans know, Bernie Williams is a prolific musician.  Christy wrote a great article for Bleeding Yankee Blue on Bernie back in April on his musical career since "retiring" from the Yankees.  You can check out her piece here:  MOVING FORWARD.

You might also know at BYB we love to not only follow the current Yankees and their happenings both on and off the field, but also thoseYankees who have since moved on from the game.  Many of these great Yankees have gone on to exciting second careers and this is definitely the case with Bernie Williams.  Bernie will be performing this weekend over in Staten Island and as you will see from the info below he won't be performing again in the New York area for quite some time.  So if you can, try and catch Bernie this Saturday and let's show him some of that Yankee family love.  "Bern Baby Bern!!!"

DETAILS:
Bernie Williams and his all star band will bring their highly followed show to the St. George Theater in Staten Island, NY.  It will actually be one of Bernie's last shows in the New York area for a while as he begins working on new musical projects.  Bernie's fusion of jazz, Latin, and salsa rhythms have been exciting audiences across the country.  Grab this chance to see a legend in concert.
