Ingredients:- 1/2 kg Spinach
- 1 Onion
- 4 Green chillies
- 3/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 200 gms cottage cheese (paneer)
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 2-3 Bay Leaves
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 4 tbsp cream
- 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Recipe:- Make fine paste of onion and keep aside
- Wash spinach leaves and remove hard stems
- Blanch spinach leaves in water and drain
- Put blanched spinach and green chillies in a blender and make a fine paste
- Now heat vegetable oil in a frying pan
- Fry cheeses cubes in it till golden brown and take out
- Add onion paste to the same frying pan and sauté for 5 minutes
- Add ginger garlic paste to it now
- Now add cumin seeds and bay leaves to it
- Add the spinach paste and all spices and cook well
- Add lemon juice and mix the spinach well
- Add fried cottage cheese to the spinach mixture and mix well
- Add butter and cook till it separates
- Now slow the flame and add cream
- Take out palak paneer in serving dish and garnish with some fried cheese cubes
Serve with hot chapattis or boil rice
